>07-12-2008 MAJOR STORM TOPPLES BOTH SIDE STAGES AT ROCKLAHOMA...

Around 6 pm CST 65 mile per hour winds and blinding rain hit Proyer, OK... The storm took its path directly over ROCKLAHOMA and its concert goers...Both side stages (open air truss rails) around 60 feet in height were toppled, one pancaked onto its own stage and reports say the first stage to be downed was lifted up and slammed back down by the gale force winds, which then toppled over to the side...One confirmed injury was reported to be a broken arm...Reports have it that the Metal Band from Los Angeles DIRTY PENNY'S equiptment was tossed off the stage to the rain soaked ground only to have (BELIEVE IT OR NOT) taken part saving a womans life...The road case that held lead guitarists Jonny Prynce's Marshall head and amp was later retrived... That case stopped the falling truss from pinning the woman and possibly causing serious injury and or her death...22CR was in the bands hotel lobby as the they looked over their drenched gear and took these exclusive pics...The main stage (which is a permant structure substained no aparant damage) and the concert continued on... On another note, we here at 22CR have been feeling the heat of rising fuel costs and in turn has increased our operating costs...Effective for our FALL 2008 issue we will be increasing our price to $4.00 USD on the newsstands.

If you buy any issue from our site we include the shipping price and that now will be $6.25 for all 50 U.S. states.

Our international price web based price will remain the same @ $9.75 which includes shipping worldwide....Thanks for your understanding, it's only our 2nd price increase in our 5 year history...
